Exciting Technology Classes
Take Your Tech Skills to the Next Level
Outstanding Kids App Development Class
App Development
Code fun apps using Javascript / HTML 5, one of the most popular programming languages in the world! Students will start by customizing their apps through creative play sessions; as they play, they’ll learn the concepts to understand the why. While the apps we code require typing, we do not expect students to be expert typists; they’ll improve accuracy and speed as the week progresses. The best part? Our apps are shareable - they will run on most smartphones and tablets while the more advanced, multiplayer games can be played across screens! No prior coding experience required.
Outstanding Kids Web Design and Web Development Class
Web Design and Web Development
Create a professional website! We ask that students come with a few ideas; we’ll learn how to critically think through what a website consists of before working through the technical aspects. Our focus will be front-end design, user experience, and functionality; coding is optional.
Outstanding Kids Design and Digital Storytelling Class
Design and Digital Storytelling
In today’s world, presentation is everything. Students will learn how to present compelling and captivating visual content that is able to evoke emotions. We’ll learn how to showcase multimedia effectively and explore communicating through experiences. Each student will bring home a portfolio of work in various formats.

A Creation Driven Approach

Students are empowered to focus on one technology of particular interest, completing mini-projects or funneling all efforts into one epic project. They’ll work independently at their own pace while under the guidance of our educators; students are encouraged to collaborate with peers as well. Staff instructors and guest speakers share fundamental theory and advanced techniques in large group format.

Day camp is designed for 3rd-9th grade students and operates Monday-Friday from 9-5pm in Jacksonville. We recommend multiple-week sessions so students have time to make friends and become part of a community, as well as turn those passions into practical skills.
